What to find on this site?

Rejection is a part of our lives from very early on.

I have decided to set up this webpage to communicate my ideas which were rejected by different people/organisations at different levels. Rejected ideas doesn’t necessarily mean that they are bad; sometimes the audience is not right, sometimes the language in which they are expressed or timing or the conjecture, but overall ideas end up getting rejected because someone who is in a position to judge thinks that the idea doesn’t appeal to the wide majority of the people. This is one of the core problems of current publishing/media organisations.

Quite recently I read about Marlon James, the winner of the Man Booker Award 2015, whose debut novel was rejected 78 times until published. From this perspective, the key issue becomes finding a way to communicate directly with potential readers, hence online “blogging”.

Although I have a strong dedication to write objectively and put direct references the origins of the ideas that I discussed, if in doubt, please follow them up with your own search from your favourite search engine.

Aaron Schwartz (the founder of Reddit) once said something along the lines:

“It’s not like people are not talking online, people talk all the time, but it is whose opinion gets heard”

so I decided to put these ideas online, to give them a chance, as I think one can apply this understanding to any domain in our society.
